Sharing the benefits of hindsight

Clare Greener

Twelve months and OFC23 on, from taking up her post as Head of Partnerships for the Oxford Farming Conference, Clare Greener is quick to share the benefits of hindsight with new and returning partners. She tells us more:

"There is nothing quite like direct experience to assist you in a role. Having navigated my way around OFC operations and contractual procedures, attending the conference earlier this year was the icing on the cake in terms of learning. I spent the whole of OFC23 writing notes, to which, I now frequently return.

My aim is to make onboarding of new and returning partners as easy and seamless as possible and to assist all partners to experience the conference as an essential element of the Oxford community.

The blend of supporting partners will assist us as we continue to develop the conference theme, “The Power of Diversity". An exciting mix of those already signed up will certainly challenge and inspire our delegates, and by placing supporting partners where they can best tell their “own story”, these will support our objective of delivering inclusivity.

Finding opportunities to achieve increased value for investment is a priority. The decision to invest is a commercial one. We are very excited to launch our “Boosted” partnership rooms this year. Responding to our experiences of running the online fringe event day last year with an understanding of societies insatiable appetite for “on-demand” content, these include a professional recording of your event held within the confines of the conference venue, provides lasting marketing collateral for ongoing use. While for some, being part of the iconic Oxford debate and Christchurch dinner provides an ideal setting to display brand values."
